Terms and Conditions
Overview
ChatCBT provides a platform connecting users with private therapists. While we take care in maintaining the directory and operating an initial vetting procedure, ChatCBT is not responsible for the accuracy of information provided by listed professionals. Users are advised to independently verify a therapist's credentials, insurance, and qualifications before commencing any sessions. All content on this website is intended for personal use only and may not be redistributed.
Terms for Users
Verification of Professionals
ChatCBT operates as a listing service. It is the user's responsibility to verify the qualifications, professional body memberships, and insurance of any therapist contacted through this platform. ChatCBT does not guarantee the accuracy of information provided by listed professionals.
Limitation of Liability
ChatCBT acts solely as a directory and accepts no liability for the services provided by any therapist listed on the platform.
Usage Restrictions
This website is for personal, non-commercial use only. Users are prohibited from selling, trading, or redistributing any information obtained from ChatCBT, including for the purpose of building databases or compiling contact lists.
Privacy and Sensitive Data
Users should not submit sensitive personal information or criminal record data through general contact forms on this website.
Complaints and Disputes
ChatCBT provides a platform for finding therapists but does not mediate or manage disputes between clients and therapists.
Terms for Listed Therapists
Content Ownership
Any content submitted to ChatCBT — including text, graphics, and videos — becomes the property of ChatCBT and may be edited or removed at our discretion.
Accuracy of Information
Listed therapists are responsible for ensuring that their profiles and all associated information remain accurate, up to date, and professional at all times.
Compliance
All profiles must comply with ChatCBT's guidelines regarding claims and advertising standards.

Acceptable Use Policy
This acceptable use policy governs how you may use chatcbt.online (our site). It applies to all visitors and users of our site, including subscribers (counsellors and therapists registered on our site).
By using our site, you accept and agree to comply with this acceptable use policy, which applies in addition to our Website Terms of Use.
Our site at chatcbt.online is owned and operated by Marie Belsten (T/A ChatCBT).
Prohibited Uses
You must not use our site in any of the following ways:
- In any way that breaches any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
- In any way that is, or is intended to be, unlawful or fraudulent, or that has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect.
- In any way that harms, or could harm, minors (persons under the age of 18).
- To send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use, or re-use any material that does not comply with our content standards.
- To transmit, or facilitate the transmission of, any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material (spam).
- To knowingly transmit or upload any data or material containing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs, time bombs, keystroke loggers, spyware, adware, or any other harmful programs or code designed to impair the operation or functionality of any computer software or hardware.
In addition, you must not:
- Reproduce, copy, or resell any part of our site in breach of our Website Terms of Use.
- Interfere with, damage, or disrupt any part of our site, any equipment or network on which our site is hosted, any software used to deliver our site, or any equipment, network, or software owned or used by any third party — unless you have all necessary permissions to do so.
Interactive Services
We may from time to time provide interactive services on our site, including forums and discussion boards. Where we provide any interactive service, we will provide clear information about the nature of the service, whether it is moderated, and the form of moderation used (including whether moderation is human or automated).
We will endeavour to assess any potential risks to users (particularly children) arising from the use of any interactive service, and will determine whether moderation is appropriate in each case, and if so, what form it should take. However, we are under no obligation to moderate any interactive service we provide, and we accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from use of an interactive service in a manner that does not comply with our content standards, whether or not the service is moderated.
Minors may only use our interactive services with the consent of a parent or guardian. We advise parents who permit their children to use an interactive service to discuss online safety with them, as moderation is not infallible. Minors using any interactive service should be made aware of the potential risks involved.
Where we do moderate an interactive service, we will normally provide a means of contacting the moderator should any concern or difficulty arise.

The following content standards apply to all material you contribute to our site (contributions) and to any interactive services associated with it. These standards apply to every part of any contribution.
